My story ... I've been where you are
I'm not your typical career coach
Sure, I have my certifications in career and life coaching, and have worked with many people for years, from teenagers to retirees, but I’ve learned most of my skills from being in unfulfilling jobs and learning the hard (and slow) way how to get what I want. The hardest part is knowing yourself and what you want out of life. I had to go through a near-death experience to understand that but that’s only half the battle. Armed with that self-knowledge, you have to acquire the skills and learn the tricks on how to land that perfect job or find that career that makes you want to go to work every day. I finally found my own path forward (that’s me on the right). Now I’m trying to help others find theirs.
If you are like me you probably had a few different jobs and careers. I’ve been a business consultant, scientist, program manager, professor, college student advisor, professional tutor, career coach and a few other things along the way. I’ve met a lot of people in all these professions, who are just going through the motions and who want something more out of life but they don’t know how to get there. I’ve helped quite a few along the way, and everyone is different. Some people benefit most by having someone to hold them accountable during the process, and they like to know that they have someone who is 100% vested in their success. For others, it gives them a place to work through their fears, build their confidence, and solidify their goals. Others just want some tips on the job search process. Whatever the reason, I’m happy to help you get to where you want to go, as quickly as possible. As I’ve learned, life is too short to not be doing what you love!

It all starts with a complimentary phone or video call so we can talk about what you want to accomplish and how we can get there. Take as long as you want… I’m in no hurry. We all have different stories and goals, and I want to hear yours!
I’m all about communication, positivity and results. It’s so easy to think that you don’t have the skills or experience or education to get the job you want but you probably do. It’s also easy to lack confidence and not even talk to someone about what you really want but you deserve a meaningful life. We all do. And it’s not just about career. That’s a big part of things but in the end, it’s about having the life you desire and having that work/life balance that we all dream about. It’s challenging, not just for men but for everyone, at all stages of life.
That’s why I got certified as a life coach. You may want a better job or a different career but it’s all about creating the life you want, so I look at the big picture and try to see how it all fits together in your life. That’s the “holistic” part of my job title. I had to do that for myself years ago and I know it’s not easy to look in the mirror and realize that you aren’t satisfied. I get it, and I know how you feel… because I’ve been there. So, let’s figure out what you have, what you need and what really gets you jazzed. Then let’s make a plan of attack and get you there as quickly and efficiently as possible. It’s time to take control of your future and be intentional about what you want. And if you’re not sure what that is, that’s fine. We’ll figure it out, together!
